Data we collect

We collect the data you give us when you create an account or book a tour: name, email, and payment details. We also store ghost-user IDs in a signed cookie to remember anonymous visitors.

How we use it

• Provide and improve the service.
• Process bookings, payments, and payouts.
• Send transactional emails (confirmations, reminders, reviews).
• Detect fraud and abuse.

Sharing

We share the minimum necessary data with guides to fulfill bookings, and with payment processors to charge cards and pay out guides. We do not sell your data.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data at any time. Email privacy@omuumo.com.

Cookies

We use a signed HTTP-only cookie to remember authenticated sessions and ghost users. No third-party tracking cookies.

Retention

Ghost-user accounts older than 60 days are automatically deleted. Booking and payment records are retained for the legally required period.
